WiFi Hotspots

Ivanhoe has 4 hotspots. Hotspots can be checked out by any Ivanhoe resident with a library card in good standing. They may not be placed on hold, but are available on a first come, first serve basis. Since they are a limited resource, they are checked out for one week and cannot be renewed.

Loan Periods

Three weeks for all materials except magazines which are one week

Renewals

Renewals may be done in person, by phone or through the Online Catalog. The item cannot be renewed if it has a hold, the renewal limit for the item has been reached, or the patron has been blocked due to fines or fees of $5.00 or more or more than 5 items overdue.

Items borrowed from outside the Plum Creek Library System cannot be renewed unless a special request is made.

For more information on how to renew, see our How Do I? page.

Fines

$5 per day for Hotspots
Replacement cost for damaged or lost materials.

Interlibrary Loan

If our library does not have the item you want, we can borrow it from another library at no charge to you. We can get items from all over Minnesota and bring them to the library for you to pick up and check out. To find items that you can get through interlibrary loan, go to our catalog for all Plum Creek items or MNLink for items statewide and place a hold. For more information on how to place holds, see our How Do I? page or ask your local librarian for help.

Homebound Delivery

Homebound delivery of library materials is available to patrons who are unable to come to the library due to age, illness, or disability. Delivery will be made to residents within the Ivanhoe city limits. Anyone who needs this free service can sign up by contacting the Library.

Curbside Pick Up

If you are unable to visit the library during regular hours, or would just like your items set out for pick up, please let us know. We will be happy to make arrangements for you to pick up your library items when it is convenient for you.

Programs

Throughout the year, we offer a wide variety of programs and community events for all ages, open to all members of our community and the surrounding area. If you would like more information on our activities, please check out our events page. If you have a suggestion for an event, please contact the library.
